The project portal is Earthvision's proprietary approach for centralized project management and content delivery. Because the Project Portal is web-based, it can be accessed worldwide from any web-enabled PC.
Our system is designed to streamline the following four functions:
Map Libraries - The library feature is designed for two purposes. The first is to provide access to print-ready maps that are suitable for use in marketing presentations or email campaigns. The second feature is a project sharing function, which allows multi-user organizations to share specific project maps across the organization.
File Transfer - In the age of email file size limitations, there are many instances in which files too large for email must be sent. The file transfer utility allows Earthvision employees, customers, and our customers clients to share files in a secure, web-based environment.
Cost Tracking - As many of our Project Portal users are multi-user organizations, tracking usage by each individual is a priority. Our system allows summary reports to be generated for any time period detailing costs associated with each user account.
